I know it has been a while....

As a family we have been busy since Evan's b-day.. I have been in school and taken a new position in the bank, plus made a trip to Boston for my job. Evan has been busy as well. He has been learning all kinds of things from getting better at riding his bike to singing songs like ABC's, Twinkle, twinkle and his days of the week song. Evan can now write his name very well (still working on the a's) and is playing with the two guitars he got for Christmas (one was from Santa Claus the other from our family friends Dianna, Matthew and Brian R.) He is even learning how to play Monster Jam on Wii. I will try to post some awesome pictures soon but wanted to let you know that we are still here:)

3 years ago today...

Well 3 years ago today my baby was born (and I know he is a big boy now). We had a party on Saturday and will post pictures soon. Today Evan went to the doctor for his 3 year check up and he weighs 30.5 lbs and is 37 inches tall. He is doing well in his development (Dr. Robers thought is was pretty cool that he could count to 10 and that he knows to sing ABC's when washing his hands) After seeing the doc we went to Champaign to get dad and went to Toy's R Us and let him look till his heart content (or till his feet got tired) then we went to Wal-mart where he looked again till his hearts content.. We went to our favorite Mexican restraunt Las Potros in Tuscola (Highly recomended) where he got sang Happy Birthday too and given ice-cream (not a highlight for him). Now he is sleeping quietly gearing up for a fun day at school.

Evan always remember mommy and daddy love you and we wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Meeting Santa-

Last Sunday I got to go to what mommy called a Children's Christmas party. It was lots of fun. I got to see my friend John and I made a new friend Aiden (his mommy works with my mommy). I got to do lots of fun things like, decorate a cookie, get my face painted (i got a football, because I love football) and I got a sword made from a balloon. Then I meet the big guy.. SANTA.. I am pretty sure he is a scary guy.. But I did tell him what I wanted.. A race car track.. and you know what we got presents and he got me just that.. a race car track.. I almost forgot we got to sing songs about Christmas and Santa.. I didn't know very many of them but I am learning.
Before the party i got my pictures taken.. and mommy says they were really good. Actually you can see a couple of the pictures at the top of my newly decorated blogpage..(Thanks RK and Braska). Well I am off to eat and watch cartoons.. See you later gater!

We visited the pumpkin patch..Which there are pictures coming..Evan is learning to count quite well and identifying colors..He loves to play with his Monster Trucks (Maximum Distruction and Grave Digger are probably his favorite) and he now has some of daddy's old cars and garage toys to play with, which is fun to watch.. Mostly we are just trying to not to be sick (not working, but we are trying).. Now for the long awaited pictures.. Oh yeah! Daddy got to Drive a Race car!

Father's Day and stuff

Mommy and I took dad to Chicago surprise for father's day. We did fun stuff then we went to dad's favorite diner. I learned that Cows actually dont just Moo. Daddy says they sound like MMMMOOOOOOO STEAK...... The burgers and shakes are awesome. the link tells you about Ed's.: http://featuredfoods.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/a-store/eds_p1.shtml?L+scstore+xpjp1068debevicffc91fc9+1247030545

More fun stuff happened the next weekend. My buddy John and I got to have a sleepover. We met Monster Truck drivers Linsey Weenk and Frank Krml from the Blue Thunder race team and got their autographs. I still think Daddy's truck is pretty cool too. I even got my first Tattoo! John tried to eat his autographed picture. Then we went home and played. It was fun.

Wheels

PaPa got me my first big boy bike. I haven't learned to pedal yet, but I've got plenty of people power behind me.
